Angular 2 | Tutorial 2 | Setting Angular via Angular CLI [w/ subs]

00:00:00 – so what is going on everybody my name is
00:00:02 – Mei hole and welcome to your second
00:00:04 – angular framework tutorial in which
00:00:07 – we're going to install angular and set
00:00:11 – it up properly using something known as
00:00:13 – angular CLI or angular command-line
00:00:16 – interface right so it makes it easy to
00:00:20 – set up your angular framework properly
00:00:24 – in a folder without doing much of hassle
00:00:26 – and downloading and shifting files here
00:00:30 – and there right so it's a kind of a tool
00:00:32 – for you for the developers to get
00:00:35 – started with angular so just say don't
00:00:37 – get started and I'm just showing you
00:00:40 – sort of the documentation way so even if
00:00:43 – something changes in the future which
00:00:45 – probably should not now then you are
00:00:49 – actually good to grow yourself so right
00:00:52 – now it saves me CLI click QuickStart
00:00:54 – here so it just tells me a bunch of
00:00:57 – stuff it saves me to install angular CLI
00:01:00 – global yarn first of all for that you
00:01:03 – need NPM so if you don't know what this
00:01:06 – is or you know you have no idea what I
00:01:11 – want you to do is go to this website
00:01:14 – node.js org right and download the
00:01:18 – latest release for your operating system
00:01:21 – and we'll be good to go so as you can
00:01:26 – see that angular CLI requires you to
00:01:30 – have at least six point nine version of
00:01:32 – node J and n PM 3.0 X so when you
00:01:37 – install node NPM would come
00:01:39 – automatically with it right so what you
00:01:42 – have to do then is the with your folder
00:01:47 – where you want to setup your
00:01:50 – applications hold shift and the press
00:01:53 – the right key and open command window
00:01:55 – here if you're using Windows or if all
00:01:57 – you're using Linux ctrl shift e will
00:02:01 – open the terminal so just type in
00:02:05 – whatever it was given here just copy
00:02:09 – this line and inside the terminal
00:02:12 – just pasted down– in to enter since i
00:02:15 – have already installed angular CLI
00:02:17 – globally so I'm not going to do it again
00:02:18 – but you have to wait a minute or two for
00:02:22 – this two installs completely and it will
00:02:25 – just show you that right and the next
00:02:28 – thing you have to do is to create a new
00:02:29 – project well you can actually check for
00:02:32 – your installed version as well by saying
00:02:34 – energy diversion so hit enter you can
00:02:38 – see it shows me angular CLI version 1.1
00:02:41 – it might be a bit higher for you but
00:02:45 – more or less is the same thing so the
00:02:48 – next thing you can do is go ahead and
00:02:51 – type in ng nu nu and let's just say
00:02:57 – hello world app and hit enter you can
00:03:04 – see that it stays in its installing
00:03:06 – packages for tooling wire and BM so it
00:03:09 – might take some time as the
00:03:11 – documentation says as well so I'm just
00:03:15 – going to pause the video here and wait
00:03:17 – for them to install okay so looks like
00:03:22 – it's done and now what we can do it is
00:03:27 – just PD into hello world app and the
00:03:32 – state ng serve and that's it and once
00:03:38 – you do that you can see that it's just
00:03:45 – building some modules and it saves me to
00:03:48 – open localhost o to 0-0 and it's using
00:03:53 – webpack which is nice so let's just open
00:03:56 – that and here you can see that we have
00:03:59 – our angular app running completely fine
00:04:03 – on localhost put four to zero zero so
00:04:06 – that is how you actually set up angular
00:04:09 – very easily using angular CLI and yeah
00:04:14 – that's one for the story all and the
00:04:15 – next one we're going to see a little bit
00:04:17 – of structural overview of what angular
00:04:19 – CLI has done and how we can actually
00:04:23 – modify it a little bit so that we can
00:04:25 – get
00:04:25 – with our own programming so that's all
00:04:28 – for this one and if you liked it then
00:04:29 – don't forget to subscribe and thank you
00:04:31 – for watching I'll see you then in the
00:04:32 – next one
